List of advertising company that suites for mmu student especially MI students

I found this website during my diploma year to have search internship

For FCM student , there's a lot of list available for us to have intership during our Gamma Year

http://www.aaaa.org.my

Let's get ready for to gather all our portfolio , artwork and animation

The Tools

Mostly in other course aside from FCM, we need to study a lot and need to memorize many things. Especially on the day of the final exam.

But we in the Faculty of Creative Multimedia do not need a lot of books to study. We really need to have skills in doing our assignments which have more marks than the final exam. We need to face computers rather than papers since a lot of our assignments need to be done by using softwares.

Apart from skills, we need a powerful and expensive hardware in order to get our assignments to be done easily. This is because the softwares that we use is quite heavy and might cause a PC to crash if it's not compatible enough with the hardware. For example, we need to render a 3D model which might take some hours to be done if the processor and the graphic card is not powerful enough. It might even crashed halfway through the rendering process.

The softwares like Adobe and Autodesk products is what we mostly used in the faculty. Those were also a kind of expensive softwares and quite heavy for a certain computer to handle if it's not up-to-date. Because of the cost, many students find an alternative way by using a pirated software. Well, no software means no work will done; no work done, means no marks received which equals to fail.

To sum it up, FCM students need quite a lot of money to finish up all the assignments. Don't you agree?

Do you think you are on the right track?

Multimedia University is a well known university in this country and also a university that has produced a lot of great artists in every aspect. The graduates are also successful in their careers immediately after they finish their study in MMU.

After three semesters studying in MMU do you feel that you were on the right track means you've chosen the right course according to the needs and the future of your dreams? And what do you think about the subjects other than the major subject such as creative communication, creative studies and many more will help and affect you later in the era of your job?

All of the above questions must be answered by all MMU students so that they will appreciate all lessons and subjects taken, it should also be concerned so that they do not lose sight of the purpose and goals that they'd like to achieve as a MMU's graduate.

Introduction

Introduction

This report was a study among a group of six students, which is enquired by Mr Too Wei Keong, the lecturer of Creative Communication (LCC1013) subject on 11 February 2010. With ‘Media and Culture’ as the theme, music has been chosen as the topic focusing on student interest on local music. The report concerns the low of interest in local music among students, engrossing on foreign music. Foreign music gets hold on more listeners, with reasons to be discovered through this research. Precisely, the main aim of the report is to identify the causes of the low of interest in local music among students and solutions to this matter.

According to http://www.musicians.com/genre/, music can be categorized by its genre, such as Classical, Country, Disco, Heavy Metal, Jazz, Pop, Punk, Hip Hop, Regional, R&B, and many more. These genres exist in both local and foreign music, but the differences are the location and language. Malaysia is a multicultural country with different colours and religions, not excluding the international community. Still, with these much of culture diversity and range of music to be picked, the local music industry couldn’t compete with the foreign ones in Malaysia itself.

Through this report, readers are expected to learn the interest of music among each community in Malaysia. Based on the research “Pew Internet Project And Comscore Media Metrix Data Memo” by PIP Director Lee Rainie and Research Specialist Mary Madden and comScore Senior Vice President Dan Hess and Analyst Graham Mudd, most music listeners are among teenagers and young adults in the range of 18 to 29 years old, according to the music downloading demographics. Hence, we choose students in University Multimedia Cyberjaya as our participants since it covered both the requirement for this research; age range and culture diversity.

Besides learning the interest of music among different community, readers are also expected to find out from this research the recommendation of ways for the problem as stated before. This is essential for the report in order to improve the local music industry and make people both local and international aware of our music. Knowing what the community wants from our local music will helps the report to conclude few methods to upgrade our standard of music to the international level.

So far, we only have seven questions on paper that yet to be finalized. How many question do we plan to put on survey? If anyone find any useful materials like website and such, do post up. Maybe an example of survey questions or a website related to our topic.

p/s: Sorry for the horrible writing :P A doctor-wannabe.

Introduction

For our assignment, we are asked to choose a topic for our short report project, and we decided to choose 'Student Interest of Music in MMU). We are yet to discuss into deeper meaning of it, but so far, we covered the scope, method and sources, purpose or research question, and importance section.

This is the mindmap we did during brainstorming session in class. As Mr Too said, we need to focus more on one topic because our topic is too broad. Any suggestion?
